Church resources for American Orphans
UPDATE: Here is the link to the new Church Resource Site for the CALL in Arkansas.
Over the past several months, myself and the leadership of The CALL in Arkansas have been dreaming about a resource hub for churches to plug into so they can share the message of the orphans in our community. We wanted resources in the hands of pastors so they could present this message in the most creative and compelling of ways. After dreaming and vision casting, we assembled a dream team of a web designer (David Miles-@amereservant), a graphics artist (Wendell Benevides), videographer (Carmen Mallard-@CarmenMallard), and a graphics designer (Chrystal Butler). The project is almost finished. We will have it launched on The CALL of Arkansas website in a couple days. As you can see, the banner graphic for American Orphan Sunday tells the story beautifully.
American Orphan Sunday is an evergreen opportunity for the Body of Christ to mobilize in the effort to rescue the orphans of our community. The Church resource section of The CALL of Arkansas website provides graphics for banners, worship guides, and bulletins. It also includes a down loadable DVD message that can be projected or used as an idea generator for the pastor’s own message. The message outline will be supported with word file talk notes, professionally created video testimonials, and so much more. All of these resources are completely FREE.
This is an early screen capture of the church resource section of the site. It is beautiful and completely intuitive. It will be stocked full of useful information, videos, graphics and much more. It will be updated often to keep pastors and churches informed as they care for those who need us most.
Tomorrow I record the video message to be used as a resource. I feel as though I am speaking for God on behalf of the 581,000 American Orphans. Please pray for me and pray that this resource ignites a passion in the hearts of pastors and churches to care about The American Orphan.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27 NIV
